Many people come to me carrying invisible burdens-anxiety, trauma, depression, overwhelming emotions, and struggles within themselves and their families.
Again and again, I saw the same need: compassionate guidance that honors both evidence-based approaches and Islamic values.
That calling led me to pursue
professional training in cognitive behavioral therapy, anxiety coaching, trauma-informed practices, and emotional wellness coaching. My mission is to combine these evidence-based coaching methods with the wisdom, mercy, and guidance found in Islam.
I believe that seeking help is not a sign of weak faith. It is a means that Allah has placed on this earth, just as He created medicine for physical illness. Healing the mind, heart, and soul can happen together when faith and proven psychological principles work hand in hand.
As your coach, I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, heal from past experiences, strengthen your emotional well-being, and grow with clarity and confidence.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, my goal is to walk alongside you—helping you move forward with resilience, purpose, and hope, insha'Allah.

The entire world is impacted by so many different events, people, ideas, beliefs, images, and the list goes on of the myriad influences everyone, youth and adults alike, are exposed to in our lives. Whether we welcome them or try to limit or prevent them from entering our thoughts and hearts, everyone is confronted with filtering and processing so much stimuli, it can be overwhelming at times. As a parent, the responsibility of nurturing your children to develop healthy habits, to learn successful life skills, and apply beliefs that will anchor them to handle hard situations and tests is hard in general; let alone the difficult challenges Muslim parents combat against to instill Islamic values and preserve implementation of them in the West.

I also really like the way she combines psychotherapy with Islamic practices and ideology. As a Muslimah in the west, we face advice that clashes with our region and feel like we have to choose between one or the other. Sr Khadijah gracefully combines Islamic advice with spiritual and mental healing.

Sister UmmHalima is one of those people who is easy to talk to. Life has given her knowledge that she uses to help people navigate through turbulent times. Based on Quran and Sunnah, I'd recommend her any day.

She has so much space for understanding, acceptance, and giving people the benefit of the doubt. It makes people from different backgrounds and environments feel comfortable dealing with her.

she’s heard my darkest thoughts and listened to me even my most intense thoughts and she’s never once judged me in a way that made me uncomfortable. Instead she’s helped me to let go of what was holding me down so that I could climb up to the top even no matter how steep it is.

As a therapist myself, I especially appreciated the consistent updates and thoughtful feedback she provided throughout the process. Her communication allowed me to better understand what was working, identify areas where I could improve my own approach with my son, and make positive adjustments to the environment around him. I firmly believe the best outcomes happen when everyone involved works together as a team, and she clearly values that collaborative approach.

The progress my daughter has made has been nothing short of incredible. She has developed so many tools to help regulate her emotions, manage her anger, and reduce the outbursts that once affected her daily life. Since beginning counselling, the positive changes have been remarkable. Alhamdulillah, my daughter has not experienced a manic episode since last year, and seeing her become calmer, more self-aware and more hopeful has been such a blessing.

One of the things I appreciate most is that each session is followed by practical homework. These activities have not only helped my daughter but have also strengthened our relationship as mother and daughter. Together we work through exercises focused on emotional regulation, building self-esteem, healing from trauma, and developing a healthier, more positive relationship with one another. The support extends far beyond the counselling room, and that has made a huge difference in our everyday lives.
